Statement Analysis
It is a fact well known by investigators: the way a question is asked influences the response obtained. Advanced analysis techniques allow for close scrutiny of suspects’ versions. In the United States, a new concept is in development: that of the L.S.I. SCAN, which stands for Laboratory for Scientific Investigation – Scientific Content Analysis, a concept which was developed in Israel.
With a decade of experience in written statement, oral or videotape analysis, Polygraphie Jacques Landry has learned to adapt this savoir-faire to the Canadian context. The enterprise thus helps its clients to shed light on statements that are particularly difficult to decode. Let us be clear about this: it is not graphology analysis but rather an analysis of the content of a statement. The operation often allows an investigation to stay on the right track. This service is meant primarily for police forces, insurance companies, law firms and experts, etc.
The enterprise also offers courses and seminars of variable length covering all the key aspects of statement L.S.I., including analysis of the linguistic code and analysis of statements.
